I Am A: Chaotic Good Human Bard (2nd Level)

Ability Scores:

Strength-13

Dexterity-14

Constitution-15

Intelligence-16

Wisdom-16

Charisma-12

Alignment:
Chaotic Good A chaotic good character acts as his conscience directs him with little regard for what others expect of him. He makes his own way, but he's kind and benevolent. He believes in goodness and right but has little use for laws and regulations. He hates it when people try to intimidate others and tell them what to do. He follows his own moral compass, which, although good, may not agree with that of society. Chaotic good is the best alignment you can be because it combines a good heart with a free spirit. However, chaotic good can be a dangerous alignment because it disrupts the order of society and punishes those who do well for themselves.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Bards often serve as negotiators, messengers, scouts, and spies. They love to accompany heroes (and villains) to witness heroic (or villainous) deeds firsthand, since a bard who can tell a story from personal experience earns renown among his fellows. A bard casts arcane spells without any advance preparation, much like a sorcerer. Bards also share some specialized skills with rogues, and their knowledge of item lore is nearly unmatched. A high Charisma score allows a bard to cast high-level spells.

Catch up

Well lately I HAVEN'T been playing a lot of new games, I unsubscribed to WOW, COH, and any other form of online entertainment, and only really started replaying some of my older games. But not even that often.

But after being subjected to all of the gametap commercials, I finally broke down, and decided to check it out. Suprised the hell out of me. I thought they were going to stick with the 14 days for free model forever. But now they changed it to resemble the Xbox Live business model. Levels and Whatnot. Green level gets you access to a random circulation of free games from some of the old arcade games, and some of the old computer games, while gold offers access to everything. But when you get access to the free level, you get full access to the whole game. You just have to watch a little ad before you play. And because it was December, the Hitman games, Psychonauts, and Some Psychic Soldier game are available for free. Only downside is you can only play games that you have downloaded on an internet connection.

Games I still want to play that have come out, Mass Effect, Super Mario Galaxy, and Lego Star Wars Saga ftw. FTW = for the Wii in this case, I new they would release a Star wars game on the Wii, and it was only a matter of time until the controller got to be a lightsaber. Using the Speaker in the Wii-mote, the game also makes the Lightsaber Noise.

Remote Viewing

So I just finished reading the book, Wicked, and read the plotline to the Musical, I like the fact that all of the characters are more interconnected than in the book. Like how the scarecrow was Fyero, Biq was the Tin Man, and the Lion, she rescued in College. And that there was less in the play. It seemed that the book just went on random tangents that didn't really affect the plot in any way shape or form.

And oddly enough now there is a new "reimaganing" of the Old Wizard of OZ, called Tin Man, on Sci-Fi. Where the scarecrow is just a genius without his brain, the Tin Man a disgraced Cop, and the Lion a Psychic. Hopefully it will turn out good, because it has Zooey Deschanel and Alan Cumming.

Defying Gravity

So if you care to find me
Look to the western sky!
As someone told me lately:
"Ev'ryone deserves the chance to fly!"
And if I'm flying solo
At least I'm flying free
To those who'd ground me
Take a message back from me
Tell them how I am
Defying gravity
I'm flying high
Defying gravity
And soon I'll match them in renown
And nobody in all of Oz
No Wizard that there is or was
Is ever gonna bring me down!

Men are Stupid

http://www.killtenrats.com/2007/10/30/men-are-stupid/

This article shows how men are more often more stupid than women when coming to work. And thats why there is a wage gap. Men make sacrifices for the make more money. If you ask how much more money they would need to work in conditions that had a 5% increased chance to be maimed, and No air conditioning, Men would come back with the lower number.

Face down in the gutter won't admit defeat though his clothes are soiled and black,
He's a big, strong man with a childs mind, don't you take his booze away!

He's been at it for years drinking balls and beer he's a hero to most he meets,
But inside he cries black swollen eyes, this man he sheds no tears!

Now his wife and kids sing a different tune as they worry about their daddy dying,
But this arrogant fool breaks every rule it'll be nothing but pride that kills him.

Could he listen no he won't that's all she wrote he'll be dead before the daylight shines,
But the thoughts and prayers of a million strong might keep this fool from dying.

He's a legend in the bar with every scar fights a thousand bigger men,
But now he fights and looses got all the bruises will someone please step in?

Cause this Irish fools got a great big heart he keeps climbing back in to the ring
In the low down circles where he holds his court this man he once was king.

Could he listen no he won't that's all she wrote he'll be dead before the daylight shines,
But the thoughts and prayers of a million strong might keep this fool from dying.

Interesting Finds

I found two articles or finds on the web that i thought were EXTREMELY worth talking about.

http://howardlindzon.com/?p=2725

In this one someone goes onto Craigslist(A classified for the internet. Personal adds, selling stuff, etc) looking to to a little golddigging. She looking for someone who makes 500k a year, and gets an incredibly honest response.

And as a decisive blow to liberals everywhere, Ann Coulter, wants to rid the USA of the one thing keeping the democratic party in power. Womens Sufferage.

http://thinkprogress.org/2007/10/04/coulter-gardner/

It comes from a liberal source, but WTF. She, a single woman, said that SINGLE WOMEN SHOULDN'T VOTE. WTF.

Game News

So this Tuesday, Halo 3 came out, and I'm pretty much addicted to the music. This video has got the major theme. And I don't know if I'd ever describe music as epic, but this come REALLY close. It just like you could really set it to Anything that would be Bad Ass. Killing Covenant, Golf, Frisbee, etc. It could make an awesome montage out of pretty much anything. As long as you had it in slow motion, Everything would work out.

Eye Opener

The coffee drink "Eye Opener" at Java city, is possibly one of the best ideas ever. Its normal coffee with shots of espresso. Its like having a hamburger, but replacing the lettuce and buns with a super concentrate of meat. I'm pretty sure having that much coffee in your system allows the drinker to see the inner workings of the universe, because I got my physics homework done in like 2 hours.

And my words per minutes jumped up like 50 words, but the errors rose about 50% so it evens out.

Weekend fun

Well, I got to go to my first Renaissance Fair this weekend. It was pretty fun, but a little to focused on selling me shit. EXPENSIVE stuff that I would only wear to other Renaissance festivals. But the atmosphere was pretty good, and they comedians were really funny, at least the Beggar's Mud Show, and Puke and Snot. And I managed to pick up another Didgeridoo, its still pvc like the first one I have, but this one was about 6 feet long and they twisted it like a tree branch. Its a pretty good imitation. I just need to find a way to paint it now. It looks VERY wood-like, with the way that they melted it, and I want to just put a design on the Top part. I don't know, pretty much a lot of my playing games time has been devoted to finding what to use and what would normally go on one.

PS. People who use computers to grade physics problems should be shot, as there is no way to see what the hell you are doing wrong. For every right answer, there are 1 billion wrong ones. From getting the UNITS in the wrong spacing, to moving a decimal, to dropping a variable down the line. And not telling the exact format before hand.... never before has there been a more dastardly move in all of science.

"Daaaa da da da da da, da daa da daaaa, KATAMARI DAMACY!"

Well just got the Xbox up and running again, just around the only time I don't have time to play it. So Bob gets to play his brand new Tiger Woods '08 or '07. But I did get to run through the new Bioshock this last weekend. The ending was pretty week, and the ending of the game was way to easy, but the plot twist in the middle was AMAZING. It definatly would have made for a GREAT movie. And speaking of games, one that I'm looking forward too, Beautiful Katamari, comes out the October 15. Not really getting excited for Halo 3, probably just going to dissapoint just like the rest of the trilogies this year. Got an intro from We [Heart] Katamari, that will give you a basic feel for the game. Basically the song is addictive as hell (See title).

Thats all I got right now, other than that during my cooking expriments, I was making a some sage + onion (Green) potatoes and some chicken. I decided i didn't want just chicken, I wanted some chicken in some of the gravy like stuff. And I came pretty close, I just put what ever i had handy; Milk, Water, some Chicken Broth, and for the heck of it, some Apple cider Vinegar. and then i just fried it on to the chicken, cuz I felt like it. It resulted in some ok tasting sort of gravy, but when i had some with the potatoes, and i had used a little too much sage making them sort of bitter. But eating the Chicken AND the potatoes in one bite made them taste amazing. IDK what it was.

And by the way, the new IDK my BFF Jill comercial is BAD, like the black plauge. IDK my BFF Rose. ARG!

Errata

New Tablet, kinda cool, has some graphical power this time, and now its widescreen too.

It was supposed to be John Cormack, one of the programmers who founded Id Software and wrote Quake, Doom, and basically started FPS gaming.

And I might want to add Jim Broadbent, the Inspector from Hot Fuzz, and Harold Zitler from Moulin Rougue.

Questionaire

You know what, im feeling generous, and i've got a bit of time over the next couple of days. If I get a Questionare thingy in the comments i don't know if i could help myself and answer it...

Music Review.

Aphex Twin:

I don't know what this guys deal is or even what kind of music. Maybe a harpsicord Techno... But anyway, If you want to know what a drug trip feels like, he does a good job. Not that i know what a serious drug trip feels like, i just listened to this guy's 1 album I have and felt like I should go out and have one, because I shouldn't feel this messed up without imbibing some alcohol.

Fair to Midland:

Some pretty good light rock, Likin Park -esque. Thier single is "Dance of the Manatee" and its probably going to be thier only one. (I'm pretty good at that)

Stephen Lynch:

A comidian that sings songs. COMPLETELY INNAPROPRIATE but hes a genius at lyrics. One of the more relaxed and songs thats not filled with profanities, Jim Henson's Dead, is on youtube. (After the Break) Most of the lines are funny in a thinking kind of way. In Beezl (High Pitched Fast ) "I've got little devil horns, and a little Goatee, little devil eyes to help a little devil see little cloven hoofs that make it kinda hard to ski I'm Satan, Woo Hoo! "

Generetion

Pretty good, apparently its a large problem in the UK. They even had their own myspace.

I was going to put up a random fact, but I can't think of any right now.

7.02.2007

"You know I think theres more to you than meets the eye..."

Just got back from Transformers, pretty standard Micheal Bay movie. Blowemup Smashemup Robots. Pretty cool that they had a Soundwave in it. I had seen most of the other ones, Rachet, Bumblebee, and all that Jazz (Kek kek kek) And I'll ruin the ending, Autobots win. Classic summer movie ending. There were some choppy areas, where the angles and combinations of things might have been kinda cool, but just didn't work. And there are things at the end. And the Number of transformations rise just about exponetially near the end, and they even start doing some Matrix stuff going on.

If I were one to get paranoid, I saw something at Lewis the other day where I work, that MIGHT set me off on the whole Everyone has a twin or possibly a Truman Show crazy So far there are two products in our store that feature models that look AMAZINGLY similar to some of the people that work there, dead on, in fact. I give it about two or three weeks until something else appears that resembles another co-worker.

Oh well apparently there is a thing going around my families blog about 8 random facts.

Random Facts #1

I hate things that are passed on virally, like the emails, or the Random Questionnaires. "Pass This on to 50 people and your tru.." Ya, NO.

Observations

I've recently looked around the internet and found several things out.

1: Avatar::The Last Airbender will be made into a trilogy of Live action movies directed by M Night Shamalan. I'm hoping he gets his creativity riened in on this project, because his last movies blew chunks.

2: Rum and Sprite = Good, I've just turned 21 the other day (May 21) so this has been taking a front seat in activities lately.

3. NEVER forget that your tops of the feet need sunscreen as well. On a side note, this is possibly one of the WORST places to get a sunburn, SO SUNSCREEN YOU FEET AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

4: 80's music was not good. It was the musical equivilent of Cocaine. Gets you high strung and wanting more.

6.07.2007

View

So these guys are here to finally replace our window that was broken and now they went to get more wood for the frame, and i got to look out of the window...

Its like in the movies where you see a picture of the sea suddenly come alive and the waves start moving? Its like that, MASSIVELY enchanced, and 1080i high def. It amazing.

Still can't figure out what to do when we go out to Colorado Springs in Aug to visit my older sister.

6.02.2007

"Not Found"

Today, while working at Lewis, One of my coworkers was trying to find a potting plant, and he was mumbling the last 3 numbers in the UPC number, and how he couldn't find it. This wouldn't have been so bad but he was saying "404 not Found....404 not Found...." and i had this huge urge to say "Of Course NOT! Thats what 404 MEANS!" But that would have made me look like too much of a geek.

I'm still going back and forth on what laptop to pick up for school next semester. Mac has lots of Cool stuff, but I can get those all on Ubuntu and save 1k for the difference. but i might have to pick up a 17 inch laptop, because everyone says its too heavy, but the ones I'm looking at all weigh only 7 pounds and 9 with the battery charger and stuff. Everyone says thats too heavy to be portable. ITS TWO extra freaking pounds!!! I carry over 30 pounds of crap in my bag with books and tablet, so an Extra Two pounds is ridiculous to bitch at.

And apparently I've been discovered, so I'm going to actually go around and get a blog reading list for myself going.

"Cry Some More!"

Well its my birthday today and I can now legally drink, and go away to prison for life. I don't know if its an omen or not but I saw a dead kitten outside of my window today floating in the lake. It made me fee sad in that short period of time.

4.25.2007

"What?"

Lost has taken an awesome turn for the better. I was thinking that they were just pussy footing around any real plot advancement. But this week they dropped a real bomb. A report from someone on the outside saying that all of the people on the original plane were found dead. This could mean any number of things ranging from the island is a version of the afterlife, to they were made from copies of the survivors were made by the island. Those crazy Dharma people always have some form of craziness going on.

4.23.2007

"You're like me, arn't you. I'd like to see how that works."

Heroes has taken a turn for the worse. It seems that they are copying "Watchmen" and just playing it out of order.

T-statement

"Geeks don't shock easily
Geeks have seen all the porn you can imagine and then some, priming them to be open to your sexual peccadilloes. They are not only less likely to be shocked by your exotic requests -- they might not even realize that other people think your turn-ons are exotic.
Conversely, your geek lover might be relieved that your wildest fantasy involves only two other people, five utensils and a trapeze."

Wow, that was Wierd

I had a really weird dream last night. I'm not too sure about the details in the beginning, but it was happy. I had moved somewhere, possibly underwater, and was enjoying it greatly. But the odd part was, I had gone on land, and was climbing some trees, and one tree hugged me.

Then some hunters came and the rest of the dream was about out witting them... I even did some running on water!
